Five H&H entities receive B Corp certification

Leading global family nutrition company, Health & Happiness (H&H) Group, is proud to announce that five of its entities – China, Australia & New Zealand, the US, the UK and France (81% of its revenues[^1]) – are officially certified as B Corporations. This is a momentous achievement for H&H, and first crucial milestone towards Group-wide certification with just two entities remaining. It's a testament to the Group's commitment to make a positive impact on people, society and the planet through pioneering efforts to act on climate change, supporting its communities, furthering innovation, and fostering a diverse and inclusive workforce.

Akash Bedi, Rotating Group CEO and CEO North America & Europe at H&H Group, adds, "In 2019 we set a bold objective – to become B Corp certified by 2025. Today is the first step in that journey, and one that reflects our commitment to accountability, transparency and continuous improvement for the planet, people and society. It is our commitment to shared value and to bring benefit to all our stakeholders, from our team members to our consumers, customers and communities, to our suppliers, partners, and the environment."

Each of the Group's entities scored highly with the UK was highest with 101.6 points, followed by the US with 99.3 points, France with 99.2, China with 91.3 and Australia & New Zealand scoring 88.8 points.

Pascale Laborde, Chief Growth and Sustainability Officer at H&H Group, says, "This is a proud moment for our teams in China, Australia & New Zealand, the US, the UK and France. It's an important step as we continue the process to strive to receive Group-wide certification by 2025. For H&H, B Corp is about more than just a certification. B Corp is now our compass shaping the very essence of how we operate, and guiding our strategic and operational decisions, to use profit for purpose, and innovation for impact. Doing better for people and the environment means putting our customers and the planet at the heart of everything we do, to create positive change now and for the future. It's just the beginning in our journey for a more sustainable world."

For H&H, key actions that have contributed to each of the entity's certifications include:

  • In mainland China, operating an ethical and transparent business and a female CEO at the helm
  • In Australia & New Zealand, listed as one of Australia's Best Workplaces for Women in 2023 in recognition of the team's efforts to create an inclusive workplace environment for all
  • In the US, ensuring a strong line of conduct for customers with Zesty Paws receiving the National Animal Supplement Council (NASC) Quality Seal
  • In the UK, cementing its commitment to a greener future with Aurelia receiving cruelty-free certification
  • In France, recognition for sustainable practices with brands Biostime and Good Goût awarded organic certification

H&H Group will now work closely with the B Lab global network while awaiting certification of its final entities, a process that is still in progress. The Group will continue to hold itself to these high standards, improve its sustainability strategy and develop targets in line with B Lab's stringent (and constantly evolving) certification criteria.

IMPORTANT NOTICE

Breast milk is best for babies. It provides the optimal balance of nutrition and protection for healthy growth and development of infants. Exclusive breastfeeding for the first 6 months is the best way to feed your baby. After that, infants should receive complementary foods alongside continued breastfeeding until at least 2 years of age or older. Introducing partial bottle feeding could negatively affect breastfeeding and make it difficult to return to breastfeeding. Good maternal nutrition is important for successful breastfeeding. Social and financial implications should be considered when choosing a feeding method. Professional advice should be followed before using an infant formula. Infant formula should always be used as directed. Proper use of formula is crucial for the health of the infant. Always consult your healthcare professional for feeding advice. Always read the label. Formulated by our health experts and research team for premium quality formulations.
